Airelle Besson
(born in March 1978, Paris), trumpet, flugelhorn, violin, composer, arranger and orchestrator. She graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Music de Paris in 2002. During her formative years she studied, amongst others, with Wynton Marsalis, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu and Kato Havas (disciple of Yehudi Menhuin). Recently, she has been taking conducting classes with Monsieur Nicolas Brochot at the conservatoire d’Evry, and she studies orchestration. She has performed with Charlie Haden and Carla Bley in the «Liberation Music Orchestra», Dave Liebman, Kenny Werner, Billy Hart, Philip Cathernie, Daniel Humair, Rhoda Scott, John Abercrombie, Youn Soun Nah, Riccardo Del Fra, Nelson Veras, Magic Malik, Gabor Gado, Heiri Känzig, Benjamin Moussay. She has performed with noumerous jazz ensembles including the French National Jazz Orchestra, François Jeanneau’s «Pandémonium», Alban Darche’s «Gros cube», Laurent Cugny’s «Big band Lumière», Fred Pallem’s «Sacre du Tympan». These musical experiences have led her touring from Europe to United States, from South America to Japan and from Africa to Scandinavia. In 2003, she founded her own jazz quintet «Rockingchair» which received the First Prize at the «Concours International de Jazz de La Défense». She has experience in teaching (masterclasses, courses, summer workshops: Jazz in Marciac, Jazz à Bourges). She currently plays in duo with Brasilian guitarist Nelson Veras in various jazz festivals on a new project. They will soon record a CD. In 2012, she was commissioned by the prestigious “Orchestre National de Lyon” and the “Institut Louis Lumières” to compose a creation for symphonic orchestra, for the silent movie: “Loulou” by G.W. Pabst (1928). In 2013, she is selected as “European Emerging Jazz Artist” to participate to the European program “Take Five Europe”.

Alessandra Bellino
(Born in 1970, in Naples). She graduated in piano, in Composition at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia (Rome) with Azio Corghi (President Luciano Berio) and in Musical Disciplines to Technological Address in Composition. She also studied at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana and with Ivan Fedele in Bari in 2005. Her works are performed in many countries including: MITO September Music, Festival of Belfort, Dissonanzen+SuonaFrancese, 58th Settimana Musicale Senese, NuovaConsonanza, Antidogma Musica, Project SONORA of the CEMAT - Proxima Centauri, Festival Nuovi Spazi Musicali, Tour Pacific Northwest Tour USA, Amici della Musica Firenze, Rèsonance Contemporaine, 5 ^ Cycle of Music Contemp. Buenos Aires, etc. and from prestigious orchestras like Orchestra Esacordo in Rome, Symphonic Orchestra of Castilla Y Leòn, Symphonic Orchestra of the Principality of Asturia, Symphonic Orchestra of Sanremo. She has won numerous International Composition, Contests, the International Ist Competition of Composition MAGISTRALIA of Asturia for a large symphonic orchestra of the International Music Prize for Exellence in Composition of Thessaloniki - Greece with National Academy of Music of the of Colorado-USA. She teaches at the Conservatory of Music of Benevento (Italy).

Alessandra Belloni
(Born in 4th July 1954, in Rome), singer, tamborine virtuoso, dancer and actress. She moved very early in New York and studied at the HB Studio and with Dario Fo at New York University, and voice with Michael Warren and Walter Blazer. She is co-founder, with guitarist and composer John La Barbera, of the “I Giullari di Piazza”, a company of music, theater and folk dance in Southern Italy, in residence at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York, with which she performed in festivals and in theaters in North America and Europe. She strives to preserve and reveal the riches and traditions of Italian culture. For almost thirty years, she carries out ethnomusicological research and has devoted herself to the study of the tarantella / pizzica as a healing dance, especially for women. She is recognized as the only female percussionist specializing in use of different kinds of tambourine, combined with song and ritual dance. She learned these techniques from Alfio Antico, Sicilian percussionist deemed the symbol of the his drum for ability to create “magical and primordial” atmospheres. Since 1984 she has taken part in the feast of San Rocco a Torrepaduli in Salento (Italy), a traditional summer event at the sound of tambourines and pizziche. In the United States she signed with the major percussion industry , Remo Inc., a whole series of Italian drums, which bears her name "Alessandra". She organizes seminars for music / dance therapy in Europe, United States and Brazil.

Trasferitasi giovanissima a New York ha studiato a l‟HB Studio, e con Dario Fo alla New York University, e canto con Michael Warren e Walter Blazer. E‟ fondatrice, insieme al chitarrista e compositore John La Barbera, dei “Giullari di Piazza”, una compagnia di musica, teatro e danza popolare dell‟Italia meridionale in residenza alla Cattedrale di St. John Divine di New York con la quale si è esibita in festival e in teatri in Nord America e in Europa. La Belloni si occupa di preservare e far conoscere le ricchezze e le tradizioni della cultura italiana. Da quasi trent‟anni svolge accurate ricerche etnomusicologiche e si è dedicata allo studio della tarantella/pizzica come danza di guarigione, soprattutto per le donne. E‟ riconosciuta come l‟unica donna percussionista specializzata nell‟uso dei diversi tipi di tamburi a cornice, uniti al canto e alla danza rituale. Ha imparato queste tecniche da Alfio Antico, il percussionista siciliano divenuto il simbolo del tamburo per l‟abilità nel creare atmosfere “magiche e primordiali”. Fin dal 1984 Alessandra Belloni ha preso parte alla festa di San Rocco a Torrepaduli, nel Salento, tradizionale evento estivo al suono dei tamburelli e delle pizziche. Negli Stati Uniti ha firmato con la grande industria di percussioni, Remo Inc., una serie intera di tamburi italiani, che reca il suo nome “Alessandra”. Organizza seminari di musica/danza terapia in Europa, negli Stati Uniti ed in Brasile. Scrive musica ispirata dalle sue ricerche etnomusicologiche: “Stabat Mater Donna de Paradiso”, “l‟Antico Ragno”, “Su Lillo Mio”, “Earth, Sun and Moon”, “Cantata dei Pastori”. Ha una ricca discografia con le sue composizioni e con le musiche originali per gli spettacoli della sua compagnia.
