Women in Music UK

Women in Music is a national membership organisation founded in 1987, that celebrates women's music making across all genres of music. Women in Music maintains a freely accessible website and mailing list which provides information to members and the public. Competitions and Opportunities, “Comps and Ops” edited by the composer Jennifer Fowler, is a valuable resource for women composers and musicians seeking commissions and awards. What’s On? is regularly updated by members, and will display any relevant events submitted through the open ‘Add an Event’ button. Other resources on the website include bibliographies and an annual Proms Report from Jennifer Fowler.
