Ailem Carvajal Gomez

(born 1972 in La Habana, Cuba, and resident in Parma, Italy) Cuban composer and pianist resident in Italy since 1997. She studied piano and music pedagogy at the Escuela Nacional de Arte de La Habana, then she studied composition and orchestral conducting at the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba. After graduating, she taught harmony, polyphony and orchestration at the Conservatorio Municipale A. Roldan and the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba and attended several international composition courses. She has been commissioned by institutions such as the Teatro alla Scala (Milan), the Centro d'Arte Contemporanea "Reina Sofia" (Madrid), the New York Music Miami Festival and the Williams Ensemble (USA) and the Ensemble Insomnio in Amsterdam. Her works have been performed in festivals in Italy and abroad, recorded and broadcasted by European and U.S. radio stations. They are published by Periferia Music (Barcelona) and Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia (Switzerland) and recorded by Sello Author (Madrid), RR Productions (Hamburg) and RYCY Productions (Los Angeles): She is a member of the National Writers and Artists Union in Cuba (UNEAC), founder of the Society for the development of contemporary art music in Cuba (SODAMC) and the Musicalia Children, for children and teen's musical education.

Alessandra Celletti

(born 6th June 1966 in Rome) pianist and composer. She gained piano diploma from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome and then studied with Vera Gobbi Belcredi. In 1997 she obtained a scholarship from the Czech Republic, and moved to Prague to study the pianistic music by Leo Janacek. After meeting with Hans-Joachim Roedelius, founder of the Cluster/Harmonia, in 2009 they created the live project "Sustanza di cose sperate"(2009), an album recorded by the label Transparency. Since 1996 she is dedicated to the electroacoustic music composition with a focus on multimedia works and realizing visual processings by herself. She is active as a concert player, performing both her works and classical/contemporary composers' works.

Alessandra Ciccaglioni

(Roma 1 agosto 1973), pianista, compositrice. Ha seguito gli studi musicali presso il Conservatorio di Musica Santa Cecilia di Roma conseguendo i diplomi di pianoforte con Fausto Di Cesare e in composizione con Luciano Pelosi. E’ laureata in Lettere ad indirizzo musicale presso l’Università La Sapienza di Roma. E’ stata più volte borsista del Ministero degli Affari Esteri, conseguendo il diploma di perfezionamento in composizione presso l’Accademia Frederick Chopin di Varsavia, e seguendo corsi presso il Conservatorio di Vienna e l’Accademia di Musica Janacek di Brno. Come pianista è stata premiata in vari concorsi nazionali ed internazionali (“Ama Calabria”, “Città di Monopoli”, “New York the big Apple”). Ha collaborato con varie riviste e con l’Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani per le voci musicali del Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani. Svolge da anni attività didattica presso varie scuole medie statali nel comune di Roma. Nel 2006 ha frequentato gli Internazionale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik di Darmstadt. Ha presentato i suoi lavori presso varie rassegne e festival (“Wien Modern”, “Project-Space”, “Nuovi Spazi Musicali”, “Musica Nuova Festival” ed altri) e presso numerose istituzioni italiane e straniere (Teatro San Giorgio ad Udine, Università di Albany (USA), Società dei musicisti di Varsavia, Auditorium Radio Nazionale Bulgara, Kunsthalle-Wien). Le sue composizioni sono state trasmesse per radio in Austria, Serbia e Bulgaria. Tra i suoi lavori: “Genesi “(2004), “Extensa” (2004), per pianoforte solo, “Ofelia” (2005), per violino solo, “La tela del rimorso” (2006), per ensemble, “Respirare l’ombra” (2007), per soprano ed ensemble per coro e orchestra, “Yanaruya” (2008) per ensemble, “Apoxyomenos” (2008), per flauto e chitarra, “Chanson” (2009) per chitarra sola.
