Beatrice Barazzoni
(Born in 29th June 1967 in Como, Italy), composer. She studied at the Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” in Milano, with Vincenzo Balzani and Alessandro Solbiati, she gradueted in piano and composition in 1987. Graduated in 1993 in modern literature at the Univesrità degli studi di Milano, she studied musicology at the Univesrsity in Padova. She also studied piano with Alexis Weissenberg at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and attended masterclasses in composition with Luis De Pablo, Marco Stroppa, Ivan Fedele e Tadeusz Wieleckzy. From 1994 to 1996 she collaborated with the Association “I Pomeriggi Musicali”in Milano and in 2001 she received a diploma of merit at the International Composition Competition “Piotr Jungerson” in Moscow. Her works have been performed in Italy and abroad. Recently is the approach to the poesia “visiva-sonora” "by Paolo Albani for the production of performances of music and poetry. She has written essays on baroque and contemporary music. She has taught at the Music Institute “Orazio Vecchi” of Modena and the DAMS of Padova. She teaches composition at the Conservatory in Cagliari.

(Como, 29 Giugno 1967) Compiuti gli studi musicali presso il Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi di Milano, sotto la guida di Vincenzo Balzani ed Alessandro Solbiati, si diploma nel 1987 in Pianoforte e Composizione. Laureatasi, nel 1993, in Lettere Moderne presso l‟Università degli Studi di Milano si perfeziona in discipline musicologiche presso l‟Università di Padova. Si perfeziona inoltre in pianoforte con Alexis Weissenberg all‟Accademia Chigiana di Siena e partecipa a masterclass di composizione con Luis De Pablo, Marco Stroppa, Ivan Fedele e Tadeusz Wieleckzy. Dal 1994 al 1996 collabora con l‟Associazione “I Pomeriggi Musicali” di Milano e nel 2001 ottiene il diploma di merito al Concorso Internazionale di Composizione „Piotr Jungerson‟ di Mosca. Suoi brani sono stati eseguiti in Italia e all‟estero. Recente è l`accostamento alla poesia "visiva-sonora" di Paolo Albani per la produzione di spettacoli di musica-poesia. Ha scritto saggi sulla musica barocca e quella contemporanea. Ha svolto attività didattica presso l`Istituto Musicale Pareggiato Orazio Vecchi di Modena e per il D.A.M.S. di Padova. Insegna composizione nel Conservatorio di Cagliari.

Boesebertha (Laura Skocek)
(born in 1984 in Austria, resident in Vienna).
Composer, she studied media design and digital art. Her artistic work deals with experimental montages in the areas of digital video and the machine –controlled composition of images and sounds. Working methods range from digital scanning to sampling and on to virtual camera panning over collage-like composite pictorial worlds. With the “dispatch me!” project by the realag collective, founded by the artist, she sends players, equipped with Handycams, into the airport gaming zone. From there, events are broadcast live to the club. Since 2007, she has produced visuals in the form of comical mini- narrations together with the artist Jennifer Schwartze.

Britta Byström
(born 1977, Sundsvall, Sweden, residence Stockholm) began her musical schooling as a trumpet student in the local music school. She began to compose in her teens, and was accepted onto the composition course at The Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 1995, where her teachers included Pär Lindgren and Bent Sørensen. She graduated 2001. Byström has composed music for most settings of instruments and contexts – chamber music, vocal music and opera – but has devoted most of her energies to orchestral music. Her works have been performed by the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Jena Philharmonie och Norwegian Radio orchestra (Norska Kringkastingsorkestret), the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the International Youth Wind Orchestra, Musica Vitae, the Kroumata percussion ensembles and others. 2007-2011 Byström was composer in residence by Västerås Sinfonietta and in April 2010 a composer portrait was devoted to her at the concert hall in Stockholm. Among her works one can mention for example Der Vogel der Nacht (2010), which was premiered 2010 by the Symphony Orchestra at Swedish Radio and Esa-Pekka Salonen during the Baltic See Festival (Östersjöfestivalen). One can also mention the orchestral work Picnic at Hanging Rock (2010), a tone-poem inspired by Peter Weir’s film with the same name. Byström herself has described it as music with the disappearing as a motive. The work was awarded with the small Christ Johnsson Fund 2012 Lilla Christ Johnson-priset. Her composition Barcarole for orchestra represented Sweden at the Rostrum competition in 2001 and was also broadcast in several European countries. Also worth mention is the orchestral work Sera, in which a diminutive lullaby-like theme wends its way through different musical environments.
