Ellen Lindquist
(born 1970 Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA, residence Trondheim, Norway) is a Swedish composer and piano player. Her music is performed regularly throughout many countries in the world such as the US, Canada, Europe Australia, Cuba, South Korea, Philippines, and South Africa. Discovery of unique world sound through collaboration is central to Ellen’s work; Several of her pieces involve dance, theater, poetry, and performance art. Ellen’s work has been heard at venues such as Carnegie Hall, The United Nations, and The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine (New York). Past commissions range from solo and chamber pieces to choral and orchestral works. Currently, Ellen is working on a new piece for music-theatre produced by Companion Star based on the work of Swedish poet Tomas Transtörmer. With its international ensemble Companion Star has presented work-in-progress performances of drömseminarium (dream seminar) in both Sweden and New York. (The premiere will be 2014 in Sweden.) Drömseminarium has been featured on Swedish television, and on American, Swedish, and Dutch radio. She has served as composer-in-residence at Mälardalen University, Sweden, and has been invited for multiple residencies at the Visby International Centre for Composers, Sweden and the Banff Centre for Arts, Canada. Lindquist has been invited to speak about her work live and in radio interviews in the US, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Composition Department at NTNU in Trondheim, and has served as visiting professor at the Gotland School of Music Composition in Sweden and taught at Stony Brook University. Upcoming projects include commissions in Sweden and Norway.

Emmy Lindström
(born in Linköping, 1984, resident Stockholm /Sweden), is a Swedish composer, violinist and mid-wife. She started playing violin at the age of five and wrote her first composition at the age of eight. She first studied violin with Päivikki Wirkkala–Malmqvist and Thomas Hall. At the age of 14 Emmy was finalist in RUM Solo Competition and the year after she received her first scholarship from the Royal Music Academy. Lindström continued her violin studies in 2003 at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg and after two years she to the Royal College of Music in Stockholm within the same program, where she studied with Cecilia Zilliacus. After some study breaks, to work in orchestras, Lindström got her Bachelor Degree in violin in 2009. Lately, she has studied composition on the Master Program at the same school. Lindström has a vast experience in different genres of music such as classical, theatre and folk. Her music has been performed on the Swedish stages Royal Academy, Nybrokajen 11 and Stockholm Concert Hall, and at several European venues such as Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Wien Musikverein, Barcelona L'Auditori, Paris Cité de la Musique and many others and her music has been broadcast on Swedish radio. Since 2005 Emmy has been the principal violinist in the orchestra at Östgötateatern in Norrköping/Linköping, where she also has had some acting roles, such as The Fiddler in Fiddler on the Roof. Emmy performs regularly with the Ariadne String Quartet, the Swedish Chamber Trio and as soloist. She often works in symphony orchestras around the country, such as Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and Camerata Nordica among others.

Erja Lyytinen
(born in 1976, in Helsinki, Finland) finnish-born guitarist, singer and a songwriter in the genre of modern blues music. She performs her music a with her band all around the world and has recorded many albums containing her own material. Lyytinen has been an artist of the international German blues label called Ruf Records since 2005. She has been collaborating with other songwriters including American Jon Tiven and British Alan Darby. Lyytinen mainly performs her own music, but she also writes music for other artists. She has a Masters of Music degree from Sibelius-Academy, Finland 2010
