Marina Tošić
(born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1968), composer and player of traditional Jewish and Arabic instruments. She became involved with music at an early age and had the unique opportunity to learn folk songs of Sarajevo's multi-ethnic cultures including Serbian, Muslim, Croatian and Jewish. After high school she left for Krakow to study at the "Jan Matejko" Art Academy where she received a Master of Arts degree. She has lived in Israel for the last 15 years. During this time Marina enhanced her knowledge of Israeli folk music and Middle Eastern music at the Bar Ilan University, and further developed her art and musical skills. She graduated at the "Rubin" - Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, at Arabic Music Department. Her compositions, in the genres of Arabic classical music are performed by "The End of the West Ensemble". Her first book for oud learning was published by Mel Bey in USA in 2009 in English language and the second book, also for oud & makam studying is about to be published in Chitory publications in Hebrew. She plays oud in The New Andalusian Orchestra, Ensemble Golha of Persian music, "The End of The West" and in "Gipsy Han" ensemble of world music.
Martina Tomner
(born in 1983, resident Malmö/Sweden), is composer, choir director and music theory pedagogue. She studied arranging and composition at Malmö College of Music from 2007 with Luca Francesconi and graduated in 2012. Tomner studied choir conducting with Dan-Olof Stenlund among others. She has composed music for many different constellations from electro acoustic music, chamber music to work for symphony orchestra. Her music has been performed by Musica Vitae, Stockholm Wind Ensemble, Värmlands Sinfonietta, and Norrköping Symphony Orchestra. She works in different chamber constellations and explores the sound of the voice and instruments. Tomner worked as a choir director of Mixtus Cantus and Malmö Motettkör. In 2008–2011 she was the union conductor for The Regionförbundet Körsång in Skåne (The union of the region in Scania), in southern Sweden. As a pedagogue she teaches music theory at Heleneholms skolans Musikgymnasium (a music high school) in Malmö.

Mercè Torrent
Was born in Barcelona in 1930. She studied piano at the Liceo Music Conservatory with Mr. Pere Vallribera. She is Self-taught in composition under the Guidelines of Mr. Cristòfor Taltabull. She writes for piano, instrumental group, orchestra, trio, cobla (typical catalan orchestra) and choral music. She has written songs with lyrics from well-known catalan poets, like J. Carner, S. Espriu, Pere Quart, J.V. Foix and Miquel Martí Pol. She has played her music in many recitals. From 1988 is member of the Catalan Composers Association. Her works have been played in all the events promoted by this Association and other Musical Corporations.
