Elisa Serna

(born in 1943 in Spain). Singer and songwriter. She began her artistic career by joining the collective Song Village in Madrid. In 1970 she moved to Paris, where she was influenced by the folk music of areas such as North Africa, Turkey and India. Her first LP, Quejío, was published in 1972, Paco Ibáñez production. She Returned to Spain in 1973, where she was arrested for subversion. Since her release from prison she was prohibited to give concerts and recitals. Her first album was not published in the Spanish market until two years later, under the title Este tiempo ha de acabar. She created the Aphrodite project to facilitate women label production.

Enrica Sciandrone

Composer and flutes with ―Gaudete‖ She was born in Veroli (FR) and after gaining her pianoforte diploma with Gilda Buttà at the Conservatorio di Frosinone, a degree in Musicology at the La Sapienza University in Rome in 2007 she obtained a diploma in Composizione with Antonio Di Pofi. Winner of Premio Petrassi International Competition in Composition 2009, (the Judge was Ennio Morricone), Enrica started her career in Composition for Screen in 2005, after Academy Award winner Luis Bacalov, took her as his assistant from 2005 to 2007, and discovered her talent. Recipient of the Leverhulme Trust and Fabrica Dei Talenti scholarships, in 2008 Enrica moved to London, where she was awarded the M.mus in Composition for Screen with Distinction and the Horovitz Award in Composition for Screen 2008 from the Royal College of Music. She has composed scores for several Italian and British award-winning documentaries, animations, films, corporates and commercials, displaying a unique voice as well as versatility in working across different genres.

Esmeralda Sciascia

(Genova, 19 Novembre 1965), cantante, percussionista, compositrice e autrice di testi. Studia musica e canto afrocubano a Cuba con Irian Lopez Rodriguez e nel 1986 si dedica allo studio delle percussioni suonando con il gruppo ―Olubatà e con i ―Mau Mau. Nel 2006 produce il disco"La Macchia" e dà vita alla formazione "Esmeralda e il Barrio Electrico". Ha partecipato al ―Festival jazz plaza di Cuba (1991). Con Trilok Gurtu si è esibita in occasione del quarantesimo anniversario del ―Ronnie Scott di Londra. Vanta inoltre una partecipazione in un disco di Mina.
