Diana Pérez Custodio

(born in 1970 in Algeciras, Cádiz, Spain). She works at the Malaga High Music Conservatory where she teaches Musical Acoustics and Organology and coordinates the Electroacoustic Music and Musical Informatics Laboratory for five years. She has been Associate Professor in the Communication Department at the Málaga University. In the artistic field, she is devoted to composition, making emphasis on the use of human voices, new technologies and mixing music within other different arts. Diana Perez is PhD in Audiovisual Communication, also has an Advanced Certificate in music theory, piano, chamber music, composition and studied oboe. In relation to her investigation works, she published her Doctoral Thesis "Comunicación y Cultura, entre lo local y lo global: la obra de Paco de Lucía como caso de estudio (in CDROM), and the book Paco de Lucía.
