Ida Østergaard

Ida Østergaard (Ida Gard) (01/03/1986, Hadsund, Denmark) is a singer/songwriter. In November 2011 she released her debut album “Knees, Feet & The Parts We Don't Speak Of” on her own label Oh My Gard! Records. It got several five star reviews and peaked as number five on Danish iTunes. In 2008 she won the prestigious contest "Career Cannon" on Danish Radio and in 2009 she was named the International Winner at the New York Song circles annual song writing contest. She's currently studying at the Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen where she's earned herself one of six spots in their song writing programme.

İdil Özkan

Pianist, and composer, was born in Istanbul, Turkey 1977, and studied piano at Istanbul State conservatory, attended master classes, and worked chamber music. Upon graduation from Istanbul State The conservatory (Piano) and Bogazici University (Psychology) she continued her education at the Berklee College of Music, expanding her studies to jazz piano, composition and film scoring. After graduation she worked with pianist, composer Lera Auerbach in New York. She obtained a commission from King International Inc. Japan, to write a piano piece "Anatolian Elegy" representing Turkey for the 2008 recording of "National Anthems by Great Composers". Her compositions have been performed at Young Composers Festival 2009, and Capadoccia Classical Music festival 2011. And, Ozkan’s composition "Deranged" was performed by Hezarfen Ensemble in 2010. She composed music for documentaries "Balance" (2010) and "Overdrive" (2011), and has been commissioned to write "Lonely King" for AICA exhibition "Dear, please don't" to be represented at Elgiz Contemporary Art Museum. Currently she continues her studies in composition at ITU MIAM.
