Hanna Hartman

(born in Uppsala, resident Berlin/Germany), is a Swedish sound artist and composer. Since around 1990 she has composed works for radio, sound sculptures and numerous performances all over Europe. More recently, she has started to write pieces for instrumentalists. During 2007 and 2008 she was Composer-in-Residence for Swedish Radio. She creates compositions that are exclusively made up of authentic sounds which she has recorded around the world. She takes sounds from their original context and seeks to reveal hidden correspondences between the most diverse auditive impressions and in new constellations she creates her worlds of sounds.

Harriet Hägglund

(born in 1970 in Alahärmä, Finland, resident in Vantaa, Finland), composer. Also known as Harry Hägglund (stage name), she started as keyboardist and second singer in a band called Sonicroom in 1995. She studied classical piano and singing. Founder member, lead singer and songwriter of the Finnish pop-rock band Passionworks (founded in 1998), she composes most of Passionworks songs and does all the lyrics and is one of the arrangers. Together with bass player Kristian Pihlajaharju she produced nearly all material of this band, which has released 2 albums, several singles and one EP. Latest album Blue Play (2006) also released in GSA and Japan (together with the previous album Passion Play). Passionworks also appears in several German compilation albums/DVD's and has also toured in Europe with Tarja Turunen (Storm in Europe 2008 Tour). She has 40 registered works in the Teosto archive. Her Finnish solo project Harriet ja käpypojat started in 2010 and debut album to be released in 2012 in Finland. She participated in Down By the Laituri (festival) 2001; Qstock (festival) 2003; Finnish Eurovision Song Contest (3rd place), and Tulivuorirock (festival) 2009.

Helle Hansen

(born in 1966, in Grenaa, Denmark, resident in Copenhagen), singer, musician, composer, lyricist. She recorded nine solo albums, about seventy altogether. One of her trademarks has always been versatility, and in recent years this includes composer/soloist collaborations with a wide variety of ensembles, like Tiptoe Bigband, Randers Chamber Orchestra, the Paizo Quartet and the National Danish Girls Choir, as well as writing for her own groups (jazz, singer/songwriter). She has specialized in bridging genres, writing crossover music for large ensembles of young gifted musicians - classical, band, singers - and also for musical theatre (Theater für Niedersachsen, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Penn State NU Musical Theatre Festival, Danish Academy of Musical Theatre, New Composers Cabaret, UCMO). Her music has been performed in Scandinavia, Germany, Scotland, USA and China.
