Angina P

(born in Vienna ), composer, producer. Angina P. takes her place in between conventionally defined genres with these unconventional works that move between IDM, breakbeat and ambient. Her production methods, which she developed as self taught, have a characteristic style that has led to 370000 downloads on her mp3.com page. Even the large entertainment conglomerates far beyond the confines of Austria's borders, have been taking note of her tracks. Her music was licensed for the Warner Brothers blockbuster Taking lives, as well as for the Discovery and History Channels. In 2006 their followed her debut album 8 rooms on Notochord Recordings. She appeared at: Noise Fest (international festival for experimental music); she has made a live performance (Providence, Rhode Island, USA); Wasserburg Leuchtet, a live performance at the Stadfest (City Festival) of Wasserburg with sound and installations (Germany). She has led an audio production workshop at the Medienkulturhaus in Wels (Austria)
