Artemis Aifotiti
(born in 1986 in Nicosia, Cyprus),composer. She studied at City University, London, with Norman Beedie at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) and with Rhian Samuel. She graduated in June 2007 with a Bachelor of Music degree and continued with a Master of Arts in Instrumental and Vocal Composition at City University with Rhian Samuel. Her works have been performed by the prestigious London Sinfonietta, in well known venues in London such as LSO St. Luke's and The Warehouse, Waterloo. She was student ambassador for City University's Music department and School of Arts. She was composer in residence for the Cyprus Clarinet Studio (CCS) for the academic year 2008-2009 and secretary of The Friends of Arte Society. Since her return to Cyprus in 2008, she has been active as a composer with performances in several events throughout Cyprus. Most recently she has had a piece performed in the Avaton Contemporary Music Festival in Limassol. Future engagements include recordings of her clarinet works by Cyprus Clarinet Studio and the participation in the Third International Contemporary Music Festival organized by the Pharos Trust.

Baikune de Alba
Was born in Bilbao in 1961. She studied at the J.C.Arriaga, Barakaldo and Donostia Conservatories, where she finished the High Degree in composition and orchestra direction. From 1986 she teach harmony at the Municipal Music School in Santurtzi. From 1993 is the director of that center. Between her writting works it is remarkable: “Proceso de Creación de las escuelas de música en el ámbito de la administración local vasca”, presented in 2001 to the XV Vasque Studies Congress (Donostia-Baiona). Currently she teachs at Santurzi music school.

She supplemented her training with various courses in composition with Manuel Enriquez, Leo Brouwer, Gabriel Brncic and Mauricio Sotelo.
