The Annual Report for The Year of 2000 of The Korean Society of Woman Composers

We had three concerts and two seminars last year.
The first concert was held at the Chugye Concert Hall in May 22 for The 35th Women Composers' Forum. Works of So-Yon Lee, Hyung-Joo Lee, So-Mi Shin, Kwang-He Kim, Sang-He Kwon, Jai-Eun Park were premiered in the world. Same day, the 11th seminar was also held at the Chugye Concert Hall. Title of the seminar was "Diversities of contemporary opera in the United States" and it was presented by professor John Eaton from Chicago University.
The second concert was held at the Knua Hall of the Korean University of Arts on September 7 for The 3rd Korean Contemporary Art Song Concert. Works of Hye-Ree Lee, Ji-Sun Lee, Eun-Young Kwak, Young-Eun Paik, I-Don Oh, Young-Ja Lee, Jeong-Sook Jin, Jong-He Lee and Bang-Ja Heo were performed.
Jazz seminar presented by Gerry Bryant, Australian jazz composer and performer, was held at the Chugye Concert Hall in Seoul on September 28. Title of the seminar was "Fundamental Idiom in Jazz Music".
The third concert was held in Woomyeon-Dang of The National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts on November 15 for the Korean Traditional Performing Arts Concerts. Works of Sung-He Joo, Hye-Ja Kim, Chan-Hae Lee, Hyo-Shin Na, Soon-He Cheon, Sang-In Lee and Young-Ja Lee were premiered in the world.
