Voices Found, un nuovo libro di inni
per la Chiesa Anglicana con musiche di donne soltanto è stata
presentato nel corso dell’Assemblea Generale della Chiesa Episcopale

Voices Found, a new hymnal supplement
for the Anglican Communion, was released this summer at the General
Convention of the Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This
was a project of the Women’s Sacred Music Project in Philadelphia.
Voices Found includes over 160 pieces of sacred music by, for, and
about women, both historical and contemporary. Many cultures, and
diverse styles of sacred song are represented. Lisa Neufeld Thomas
has led workshops to introduce the hymnal in Washington DC, Boston,
and the New York area. The Lady Chapel Singers presented music from
Voices Found at the Washington National Cathedral, Rosemont College,
and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Philadelphia during Advent. This
Spring they will present concerts in Kansas City, Missouri, at Grace
and Holy Trinity Cathedral and Christ Episcopal Church, April 17 and
18. On June 5 they will present a Voices Found workshop and concert
at St. Mark’s Church in Medford and on June 6, a Choral Evensong
with concert at St. Paul’s, Salem, in Oregon. For more information
